Mails

Mails are a unique feature of Kingdoms that provides each kingdom with a basic mailing system, including replies, CCs, an inbox, and sent mail. This mailbox belongs to the kingdom as a whole and is intended for official announcements and communication between kingdoms, not for individual players.

Your kingdom's mailbox is located in the nexus, where you can see all sent and received mail. Only players with the VIEW_MAILS rank permission can see this menu, and you need the MANAGE_MAILS permission to write mail. To start writing mail, click the book icon at the top of the page. This gives you a special book in which you can write your mail. You can put it anywhere you want, and other players can modify it too, but only players with permission can finalize and send the mail.

The mail content is the text in the book itself. You can use colors in the mail content if you want, but you cannot use placeholders or anything else. To modify other mail properties, such as the subject and CC recipients, right-click the book while sneaking (SHIFT is the default key).
Your mail must have a subject and a primary recipient. The rules for primary and CC recipients generally follow RFC standards.

You can preview the mail and see how it will look in your mailbox and to other kingdoms by opening the special properties menu (right-click while sneaking) and clicking the preview option.

To send the mail, return to your kingdom's mailbox in the Nexus and drop the book into one of the free slots.
