chore(deps): hold kustomize at 0.21.2 until Kubernetes 1.38 - #440

kustomize 0.21.3 raises k8s.io/kube-openapi to a snapshot built on structured-merge-diff/v7, the Kubernetes 1.38 line. k8s.io/apimachinery v0.37.x compiles against v6, so the operator stops building and every weekly Dependabot group PR goes red (#434, #436). Ignore kustomize >= 0.21.3 until k8s.io/* moves to v0.38. Also carries a small diagram touch-up in config-bi-directional.

- Line 55: Replace the `versions` filter under Dependabot’s `ignore`
configuration with the three `version-update:semver-*` update types for patch,
minor, and major releases. This preserves the compatibility hold for normal
version updates while allowing security update PRs.

versions under ignore filters security update PRs as well as normal version updates. A security fix that requires v0.21.3 or later will therefore be hidden. While the current modules remain at v0.21.2, use the three version-update:semver-* ignore types instead; Dependabot does not apply those filters to security updates. (docs.github.com)

…t pins (#449) * chore(deps): bump fluxcd/pkg/apis/meta to v1.38.0 and k8s.io/utils - github.com/fluxcd/pkg/apis/meta v1.37.0 -> v1.38.0 - k8s.io/utils -> v0.0.0-20261023123148-ca04ba58ecab The Kubernetes libraries stay on v0.37.1: 1.38 has only alphas. Flux meta v1.38.0 is Flux's own numbering and still requires apimachinery v0.37.1. kustomize api/kyaml stay at v0.21.2 for the same reason as #440. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * chore(deps): refresh the distroless digest, login-action, oras and vale - gcr.io/distroless/static:debug: current digest - docker/login-action v4.6.0 -> v4.7.0 (workflows and the docker-build action) - devcontainer: oras 1.3.6, vale 3.25.1 Vale 3.25.1 gives the same output as 3.24.0 on every file .docs-lint-scope gates. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 (1M context) <noreply@anthropic.com> * chore(deps): bump e2e cluster charts and Argo CD to v3.5.6 - cert-manager v1.21.2 -> v1.21.3 (e2e HelmRelease and the quickstart URL) - reflector 10.0.65 -> 10.0.68 - prometheus-operator CRDs v0.94.1 -> v0.94.2 - Argo CD chart 10.10.5 -> 10.11.1 (v3.5.5 -> v3.5.6) The four Argo CD facts the setup README asks to re-verify hold at v3.5.6: the four source files it names are unchanged from v3.5.5. The chart still leaves the tracking method and server-side apply unset, and its redis tag is still 8.6.4-alpine, so the mirror.gcr.io pin and digest stay. Why
The weekly Dependabot group PRs (#434, #436) are red on Lint, Unit tests and the project image. They all fail on the same compile error:
sigs.k8s.io/kustomize/{api,kyaml}0.21.3 bumped kube-openapi to its latest snapshot (20261001230523), which has moved tostructured-merge-diff/v7. That is the Kubernetes 1.38 dependency line:k8s.io/apimachinery v0.38.0-alpha.2pins smd v7, whilev0.37.1, which we use, pins v6. Kubernetes 1.38 is still alpha, so we can't movek8s.io/*forward yet. What
Add a Dependabot
ignoreforsigs.k8s.io/kustomize/*>= 0.21.3on the gomod entry. The other bumps in the group should then go through. Remove the ignore whenk8s.io/*moves to v0.38; kustomize has to come along in that same PR.This PR also includes a small, unrelated touch-up to
