Intro

As already mentioned in Slack, I'm stuck with Keeping your repository up to date with the Conduction Common Ground component in the tutorial.

The consequence is that now I don't know if and how to adjust the documentation regarding: Please make sure the you have committed all your changes to your current codebase and pushed a backup copy to your Git repo before continuing

So what / how is relationship between:

  • proto component
  • commonground example
  • local fork from commonground example

PR

This PR is a result of the route I'm familiar with:

  1. Created a local fork of the original repo
  2. Added the upstream link (zie terminal output)
  3. Added my new feature branch
  4. Ran the wizard
  5. Tested te result by adding my own resources (see postman output)
  6. Pushed the branch to local fork
  7. Created this PR

.gitignore

Tried to avoid the necessary commit after every docker-compose up with additions to gitignore, but that doesn't work the way I expected it to and I don't know why.
