Description:

  • Enable applicability check for rsyslog service for Ubuntu 22.04

Rationale:

  • cis jammy v2 benchmark drop entire section about rsyslog and leaves a comment:

If your organization makes use of another logging system such as rsyslog or an
enterprise wide logging system completely outside of journald, then the
following recommendations do not directly apply.

Hi @alanmcanonical. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a ComplianceAsCode member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

I have verified that these rules in Ubuntu 22.04 data stream now contain the service_disabled_rsyslog platform.
