Summary

Adds a short contributor-facing label guide to CONTRIBUTING.md defining the canonical label taxonomy for multi-program contributions (GSSoC, NSoC, SSoC, ECSoC).

Changes

  • Section 6a in CONTRIBUTING.md: Label taxonomy table covering type, area, difficulty, program, process, and quality labels with clear rules
  • Quick examples: Copy-paste label sets for a security bug and a beginner UI task
  • Common mistakes: Anti-patterns to avoid (stacking difficulty systems, missing priority on security bugs)
  • PR template: Added label guide reference to the checklist
  • Issue template: Added labeling tip to feature request template

Test plan

  • \make typecheck\ passes
  • Docs-only change, no code tests needed

Can u please ask in the issue to get assigned actyually ur name is not appearing in the assignees section

@pavsoss All review feedback has been addressed:

  1. Typo - Fixed 'Maintainains' to 'Maintainers' in feature_request.yml.
  2. Label name - Changed 'good pr' to 'good-pr' (with hyphen) to match actual label.
  3. ECSoC labels - Updated to real names: ECSoC-L1 / ECSoC-L2 / ECSoC-L3.
  4. Absolute links - Changed relative link in PULL_REQUEST_TEMPLATE.md to absolute GitHub URL.
