Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Gemini CLI or any other MCP app to your company's LiteTMS and work with it in plain language. Connect in one click or follow the steps for your app.
LiteTMS is a transport management system (TMS) for road carriers and freight forwarders. This repository holds the LiteTMS plugin: the address of the LiteTMS MCP server and a skill that teaches the AI app how to use it well.
Dispatchers, forwarders, fleet managers and office staff of companies that already work in LiteTMS. You sign in with your own LiteTMS account, and the AI app sees what you are allowed to see: your role and your branches apply to every answer.
Tools marked Changes data add, change or delete something in LiteTMS; the others only read.
| Tool | What it does | Changes data |
|---|---|---|
| Search drivers | Finds drivers and other employees by name, status or position. Shows each person's status, position and the vehicle and trailer they currently use. | No |
| Get driver details | Shows one person's phone numbers, e-mail addresses, languages, ADR qualification, branches, employment dates and documents with their expiry dates. | No |
| List my reminders | Lists the reminders you created in LiteTMS, upcoming or past, with date, time, priority and who can see them. | No |
| Create a reminder | Adds a reminder for you: a day, an optional time and details, a heads-up some days before, a priority. It stays yours unless you ask for the whole company to see it. | Yes |
| Change a reminder | Moves or edits one of your reminders. Only what you ask to change changes. | Yes |
| Delete a reminder | Deletes one of your reminders. | Yes |
Questions that work:
- "List our active drivers and the vehicle each one uses."
- "What is Anna Nowak's phone number?"
- "When does Jan Kowalski's driving licence expire?"
- "Show me the employees who no longer work for us."
- "Which languages does Piotr Zielinski speak, and does he have ADR?"
- "Remind me next Monday at 9:00 to download the tachograph data."
- "Move my insurance reminder to Thursday at 14:00."
Every answer can include a link that opens the record in LiteTMS. A reminder the app adds shows up under Reminders in LiteTMS like one you add yourself.
Documents are read one person at a time. A question such as "whose documents expire this month?" works well for a handful of people; for a large fleet the AI app will ask you to narrow it down.
Orders, vehicles, GPS positions and other parts of LiteTMS are not available yet. More tools are added step by step.
- A LiteTMS account that may view employees (for questions about people) and use reminders (for reminders).
- The "ChatGPT, Claude & MCP" module turned on for your company. An administrator does this once, in LiteTMS under Administration > Marketplace or with one click on the Allow page the first time they connect. That one module turns on every AI app: Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, VS Code and any other MCP app.
After that, each person connects their own account. Nobody shares a password or an API key.
The server address is the same for every company:
https://mcp.litetms.eu/mcp
In one click:
Each link opens the app with LiteTMS filled in and asks you to confirm; nothing is added until you do. Then sign in as described under Signing in.
If LiteTMS is listed in your AI app's directory, you can also add it from there. For every other app follow its steps below, or open mcp.litetms.eu for the same guides with a copy button for every command.
- Open Customize > Connectors, or use the Add LiteTMS to Claude link, which opens the same dialog with the name and address filled in.
- Choose Add custom connector.
- Paste the server address and choose Add.
- Choose Connect.
- Enter your company's LiteTMS address, sign in and choose Allow.
On Team and Enterprise plans an Owner adds the connector once under Organization settings > Connectors (prefilled for Owners). Each member then opens Customize > Connectors and chooses Connect. A connector added on the web or desktop also works in the mobile app.
Install the plugin. It adds the server and the LiteTMS skill:
claude plugin marketplace add CodeJungle/litetms-ai
claude plugin install litetms@litetmsOr add only the server:
claude mcp add --transport http litetms https://mcp.litetms.eu/mcpThen start Claude Code, type /mcp, choose litetms and sign in.
In the ChatGPT desktop app:
- Open Settings > MCP servers.
- Choose Add server.
- Enter a name, choose Streamable HTTP and paste the server address.
- Choose Authenticate.
- Enter your company's LiteTMS address, sign in and choose Allow.
In ChatGPT on the web, turn on Developer mode under Settings > Security and login, open the Plugins page, choose the plus button and enter the server address.
Add this repository as a plugin marketplace:
codex plugin marketplace add CodeJungle/litetms-aiThen type /plugins in Codex (in the app: the Plugins tab), choose LiteTMS and install it, or
install it from the terminal with codex plugin add litetms@litetms. The plugin adds the server and
the LiteTMS skill.
Or add only the server and sign in:
codex mcp add litetms --url https://mcp.litetms.eu/mcp
codex mcp login litetmsgemini extensions install https://github.com/CodeJungle/litetms-aiRestart Gemini CLI. It asks you to sign in the first time it uses LiteTMS; /mcp auth litetms
starts the sign-in again.
Paste this sentence into the agent. It reads the setup instructions, adds the server in the way its own app expects and tells you when to sign in:
Read https://mcp.litetms.eu/agent-setup/SKILL.md and follow it to connect this agent to LiteTMS.
You still sign in yourself, in your browser. The agent never asks for your password.
Most apps read a configuration like this one:
{"mcpServers":{"litetms":{"url":"https://mcp.litetms.eu/mcp"}}}VS Code uses a slightly different shape:
{"servers":{"litetms":{"type":"http","url":"https://mcp.litetms.eu/mcp"}}}An app that asks for a transport type needs Streamable HTTP. Sign-in uses OAuth, so there is no key to paste.
The first time you connect, your browser opens mcp.litetms.eu and takes you through three steps:
- Your company's LiteTMS address. Type the first part of the address you sign in at, for
example
acmeforacme.litetms.eu. - Your usual LiteTMS sign-in, with your two-factor code if you use one.
- Allow or Cancel. The page names the app and lists what it may read and change.
Type your password only on the LiteTMS page. The AI app never needs it.
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| The company address is not accepted | Check the first part of the address in your browser when you are signed in to LiteTMS. |
| The Allow page says the "ChatGPT, Claude & MCP" module is turned off | An administrator chooses Turn on and continue on that page, then Allow. Anyone else chooses Ask them to turn it on: the people who can get a notification in LiteTMS. Once it is on, connect again. It can also be turned on under Administration > Marketplace. |
| The answer says you lack permission | Your role does not include that area: viewing employees, or the reminder permissions. Ask your administrator. The Allow page says so before you connect. |
| A reminder cannot be found | The app reaches only reminders you created. Reminders a colleague shared with you stay in LiteTMS. |
| A person cannot be found | They may belong to a branch you do not see, or the name is spelled differently. |
| The app asks you to sign in again | The connection ended. Sign in again to restore it. |
The plugin has no program code and runs nothing on your computer.

Instructions for the AI app: how to search, how to handle reminders, how to present results, what it must not guess. |
The assets folder holds the LiteTMS icon and logo. SECURITY.md says how to report a vulnerability. Every request the plugin causes goes to
https://mcp.litetms.eu/mcp and to no other address.
- The AI app acts as you. It reads only what your LiteTMS role and branches allow.
- Changes stay within your role. The app changes data only through the tools marked Changes data above, never beyond what your role allows, and everything else it only reads. A reminder stays yours unless you ask for the whole company to see it; then everyone in the company gets a notification.
- What you ask for leaves LiteTMS. The answers are sent to the AI app you connected and are handled under that provider's terms. Connect only an app your company accepts for staff data.
- The plugin stores nothing. It keeps no data, no password and no access key. Your AI app holds the sign-in, and you can end it at any time.
- Some data is never sent: home addresses, dates of birth, bank details, salary, notes, document numbers and attached files.
- Your company keeps a record. LiteTMS writes to the company's audit log that an app was connected, which tool was used, whose record was opened and which reminder was added, changed or deleted, as it does when you do it in the browser. LiteTMS receives only what the AI app sends to look something up or save a reminder, not your conversation.
- Disconnecting. In LiteTMS, open Settings > Connected apps and choose Disconnect next to the app. Administrators can see and end every connection of the company on the module's setup page.
