Incoming
Only users in the CUK system who are not hosting officers and have separated registration. The main purpose to be part of this system is to be able to get some general information about your exchange stay and be able to explore and signup for events which are held by hosting country. Now lets explore CUK more.
Welcome screen is visible after you successfully login into system. This page serves as some kind of dashboard, there are few things which can be displayed, list of these things is written below.
- News are short messages from officers to another all users of system and can be used for all kinds of notices. These notices are active and visible only for month starting from its release date. News are visible for all users in system, not only users from particular faculty! For purposes of faculty news another mechanism or service should be used.
- Events photos is section which show some randomly chosen images from events which was organized through CUK system.
- CUK statistics is some kind of statistics and interesting information with few numbers relevant to CUK and that particular instance of this system.
Information about you and your account are summarized in the My Incoming Profile page accessible through the sidebar. Information stated here are visible in the same form to the officers from hosting country. You can find here some details about your profile and below the initial table, there is list of events to which you are signed up.
General information concerning your exchange can be found under General Information link in the sidebar. In here you should see articles written by hosting officers which should give you overview over the system and mainly what to do before, during or after your exchange. For that purpose there are collapsible articles hidden under Before Clerkship, During Clerkship and After Clerkship sections.
Above general information are the same for the incomings from all faculties. But there are also articles which should be more focused on your hosting faculty. You can find it under Faculty Information link in the sidebar. It is article written entirely by officers from your hosting faculty and should contain faculty relevant information.
IFMSA Hierarchy accessible through IFMSA Hierarchy link in the sidebar, reflects current hosting officers registered in the CUK system, so you can find here quite up-to-date information with names, emails, images and faculties to which officers belong to. Officers are displayed in some kind of cards and are divided by their roles.
Events are trips or meetings organized by officers on which incomings can signup and eventually take part in them. Events are organized for particular faculties and users can see only those which belongs to their faculty. Incomings are able to signup for events and even pay for them using integrated payment gateway.
Events calendar can be found under Events link in the left sidebar. In there you can see all possible events which are suitable for you if they match given filtering options. Events are displayed in some sort of cards which should give you overall picture about particular event.
If you want to see more details about event just click on the Event Details link. This will redirect you to page, where all possible details about event, which organizer gave during event creation are visible. At the bottom of the event detail there is table of participant in where all signup incomings are displayed.
Right above the list of signup incomings there is signup options for you. As incoming you are able to signup for the interesting events by clicking on Sign Up! button. Please note that after signup deadline exceeds you will not be able to unsign from event.
If the event is not for free you should see payment options on the event detail page (see picture below). You have to pay the price stated in the event details. Good news is there is integrated payment gateway and payment are done in classical "internet payments" way. You just have to click on the Pay For Event button and prepare your card details.
Unsigning from event is quite easy and can be done through Unsign button. But please think about consequences, if you already payed for event and you unsign there is no automatic refund of your money, you have to resolve this with your CP or some of the officers from hosting country. On the other hand if you already payed and unsigned and then signup again your payment status will be again payed, CUK stores this information and match you with previously executed payment.
