Summary

  • Replace all instances of nanometer(s) with the international BIPM spelling nanometre(s) in _item_units_list.code, _item_units.code values, and associated description texts
  • Remove the duplicate 'nanometers' entry from the units list in base/mmcif_pdbx-data.dic (a 'nanometres' entry already existed)
  • Files in archive/, dist/, and previous/ are left unchanged as historical snapshots

Affected files: base/mmcif_pdbx-data.dic, base/mmcif_pdbx-base.dic, extensions/emd-DA-v1.01.dic

Test plan

  • Verify nanometer no longer appears in any active .dic file (outside archive/, dist/, previous/)
  • Confirm dictionary parses correctly with existing tooling

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Replace all instances of 'nanometer(s)' with the international spelling
'nanometre(s)' as defined by the International Bureau of Weights and
Measures (BIPM), in _item_units_list.code, _item_units.code, and
associated description texts. The duplicate 'nanometers' entry in the
units list (base/mmcif_pdbx-data.dic) is removed since 'nanometres'
already existed. Files in archive/, dist/, and previous/ are left
unchanged as historical snapshots.
