Standard verification checks destination readback against bytes read from the source during copying. The finish screen previously said every backup “matched the card,” which could be read as a separate source reread. It now names the actual comparison. A failed transfer also no longer says no files were confirmed when some destination rows may already have verified results; the message works when there are zero rows too.

Validation: the repository's full Mac test gate passed on the branch (1,158 passed, 13 skipped, zero failures). Focused presentation tests passed (25 XCTest + 42 Swift Testing), and the iPad simulator build passed. The patch was rebased onto current main after XML PR #44 merged; git range-diff confirms the commit content is unchanged.
