In order to build the the uMachine run the shell script (compile.sh)
or execute each command in the shell script individually….

This should create a unix executable called ‘execute’ that can be run 
in the terminal.

./execute prog2.txt

P.S.
The executable is in the repo and should allow you to run programs without building.
