In multi-select mode, right-clicking an unselected item will clear all selected items and select only the item you right-clicked on.

Following the example of frameworks like WinUI: Neither deselect the currently selected item nor select the right-click menu item

Also, when you right-click a selected item, nothing happens. So there is a difference in behavior between right-clicking a selected item and a non-selected item.

I've tried all manner of different UI systems and every single one selects the item which was right-clicked on except WinUI.

It's a good idea to select the item you right-click on because this indicates which item(s) you are operating on. Otherwise answer me this: am I operating on the two previously selected items plus the one I clicked on, or only the one I clicked on?

I opened this PR mainly to draw attention to my issue.

Also, I’m certain this issue is a bug, but no one discussed it with me in more detail, and my PR was closed immediately without any resolution. I’d like to hear your thoughts. #21871
