RT-Extension-AssetTracker (AT) is an asset tracking add-on to Request Tracker (RT). If you are comfortable with configuring and customizing RT then you will feel right at home with AT.

If you are not already an AT user, you might want to use RT-Extension-Assets instead.

Features

Asset Tracker borrows a lot from RT:

• Just as RT tickets are organized into queues, AT assets are organized into asset types.
• AT uses RT's custom fields system.
• Links can be created between assets, or between assets and tickets. Link types are configurable, allowing you to add new relationship types as needed.
• Asset roles can be customized. Need owners, admin, approvers, auditors? No problem.
• AT has a search interface similar to RT. Searches can be saved and can appear on your RT home page and dashboards.
