Hi 👋!

🌎🌏🌍 I am Amit Roy.

👨‍🎓 I am a PhD student at Purdue Computer Science from the Fall 2022 to Present.

🧐 My research focuses on personalizing LLM-focused applications through post-training e.g.

RAG, LLM agent-based orchestration, and reinforcement learning.

💻 I worked as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Finance Technology during the summers of 2026 and 2025.

🎓 In May 2025, I obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA.

📚 In August 2020, I completed my undergrad at the Department of CSE, University of Dhaka (Class Rank 1st).
