Quantix

A clean, neumorphic-styled calculator web app with a scientific mode, unit converter, calculation history, and voice input — built with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (no frameworks).

Features

• Basic Calculator — standard operations with a soft neumorphic keypad
• Scientific Calculator — trig, powers, logarithms, and more, built on a hand-written expression parser (no eval())
• Unit Converter — Length, Weight, Temperature, and Currency, with live conversion and a quick-conversions grid
• History — every calculation (basic and scientific) is saved and browsable, with per-entry and clear-all delete
• Voice Input — speak an expression naturally (e.g. "forty two plus eight") and it's written into the display, ready to confirm with =
• Settings — light/dark/system theme, adjustable accent color, decimal places, rounding mode, angle unit, and font size, all persisted locally

Tech Stack

• HTML5 / CSS3 (custom design system via CSS variables, no framework)
• Vanilla JavaScript (ES5/ES6, no build step or dependencies)
• localStorage for settings and history persistence

Getting Started

No build tools or dependencies required.

1. Clone or download this repository.
2. Open index.html directly in a browser, or serve the folder with any static server, e.g.:

   npx serve .

3. Navigate between Calculator, Scientific, Converter, History, and Settings using the sidebar (hamburger icon, top left).
