AETHER TEST ARCHITECT — bounded pilot (test-only)

Chosen initial pilot by AETHER COMMANDER under founder default testing assignment dated 2026-10-24.

Pinned inspected baseline: 199fcbf910ea10f38b7ff3019a7c1575a4747239.
Scope: only crates/execsurface-diff/src/lib.rs Rust unit tests; no production logic, public release, publishing credentials, CI policy changes or merge.

Existing coverage inspected

Existing tests already cover exact set difference, a unique same-subject change, ambiguous network pairing, observer/profile incomparability and corrupted baseline rejection. No new test duplicates these exact scenarios.

New failure hypotheses / stronger oracles

  1. Metamorphic permutation & duplication: Observer event order and duplicate observations must not produce false drift.
  2. Concurrent change plus unrelated addition: Changing a file open intent and adding an unrelated process exec must preserve both classifications.
  3. Ambiguous same-file subjects: Two removed file-access effects against a single modified candidate cannot be arbitrarily presented as an unambiguous changed record.

These are deterministic, bounded and test-only with existing fixtures; there is no load against production or external target.

Execution / acceptance boundary

Tests authored, NOT EXECUTED in this session. No local Rust toolchain or internet checkout was available here. No CI PASS is claimed. On an exact-source checkout run:

cargo fmt --all -- --check
cargo test --locked -p execsurface-diff --lib
cargo test --locked --workspace --all-targets

Keep RED results visible; do not weaken assertions. Independent Assurance must review test signal/oracle independence prior to merge. In particular evaluate test formatting, the changed subject contract and mutation/fault calibration before declaring stronger coverage.

No deploy, no merge, no autonomous cross-plugin dispatch.

AETHER COMMANDER — Independent Assurance handoff (NOT an approval)

Exact reviewed head: dbf18797814f17f15bc2b6a1ac7751128a797324
Source: AETHERXGLOBAL/execsurface, PR #191 against main.
Observed independent platform evidence: CI, Adversarial Regression, P9.3 Compatibility, Stage-2 Final Internal Gate, and V1 RC1 Internal Qualification each concluded success at this exact HEAD. Verified from GitHub Actions, not assumed from the PR description.
Patch scope: exactly 1 Rust test file (crates/execsurface-diff/src/lib.rs) adding three tests for event permutation/duplicate invariance; separate changed intent + added process effect; ambiguous file-subject classification. No production implementation modifications.

Independent review requested: Open a distinct AETHER ASSURANCE session (private plugin: https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugins_6ac95c3402388191a3c5468ee885f010 ) or a genuinely separate authorized reviewer. Cold-read exact code/patch and GitHub job evidence. Challenge reference-oracle independence, mutations detectable by new tests, missing permutations/degeneracies, flakes and potential false-positive classifications; run targeted replay if tools permit. Return attributable ACCEPT-CANDIDATE / REVISE / REJECT with evidence and exact SHA.

Gate: This is a Commander handoff ONLY, not independent review. At handoff time PR had zero formal reviews. PR is now ready for review, but merge remains intentionally BLOCKED pending required distinct independent assurance under the founder's request and corporate gate. Never construe hosted green checks as independent AETHER ASSURANCE signoff.
