Application does not find .srm save files

Save files from Retroarch often have the file ending .srm instead of .sav. When you hit the load save file menu, it doesn't show these files. They're the same format as the .sav file, so the user just needs to rename the file.

It would be nice if we saw these save files in the file open dialog by default.

If this is something we'd like, I might look at making the PR. Seems simple enough.

I don't think it is a bad idea and it will work well, plus it's very easy to implement.

The only thing is that it will be copied right after to a current_save.sav file, which could be confusing for people importing a .srm and ending up with a .sav instead.
