That dialog is the playback upscaler (DLSS SR), not neural rendering. It targets 1440p or 2160p and leaves anything already at or above that size alone, so image size on its own shouldn't trigger it.

Photos were only added in 0.14.0, released the day you filed this. If you were on an older build, images just weren't supported yet. Try 0.17.0 first.

If it still happens I need the real version (right-click the exe, Details, File version), the image's size and format, and DLSSVideoPlayer.log from the folder next to the exe. The log has the actual reason.
