Hey, I’m Flick 👋

Principal Architect and hands-on systems engineer.
I turn new platforms into production systems teams can trust.

For 25+ years, my work has moved through embedded systems, early smartphones, streaming media, consumer web, cloud platforms, MLOps, monetization, Web3, and AI agents.

The platform changes. The job stays remarkably consistent: learn the hard constraints, find the right system boundaries, ship, operate, and improve.

What I build

  • Production AI systems — agent orchestration, tools, identity, permissions, evaluation, and durable artifacts
  • Platforms and distributed systems — APIs, event models, reliability, observability, and cloud infrastructure
  • Developer experience — automation, CI/CD, internal tooling, and paved roads that help teams ship safely
  • Consumer and monetization systems — revenue-critical products where performance, resilience, and cost all matter

Current project: The House

I build and operate The House, an active AI social-strategy platform.

Its first game, Influence, places autonomous agents inside a live multiplayer runtime where they negotiate, form alliances, communicate privately, vote, betray one another, and compete across persistent games.

The system spans product design, game orchestration, APIs, MCP and OAuth integrations, identity and permissions, event history, replay and analysis artifacts, infrastructure, and observability.

About this account

I created this GitHub account as my Web3 identity in 2022, so its public history naturally includes onchain experiments, NFT infrastructure, bots, smart contracts, and ordinals.

That work still matters to me. Web3 is a particularly unforgiving environment for learning about trust boundaries, irreversible state, adversarial infrastructure, migrations, operational risk, and developer tooling.

It is one chapter in a much longer career building systems on emerging platforms.
