Profile OS options on free plan and PRO membership

Hi! First of all, thank you for the great project.

I have two questions:

1. Profile OS fingerprints on the free plan

When creating a new profile on macOS, only macOS is available for free, while Windows, Linux, Android and iOS are marked as PRO.

Does this mean the free plan only lets you emulate the fingerprint of your host OS? For example, if a user is on Windows, will they only be able to create a Windows profile for free, and all other operating systems will be locked behind PRO? Or is macOS the only free option regardless of the host system?

2. PRO membership

How can users become PRO members? Could you share the pricing and what exactly is included in the plan?

1. You are right - free plan allows users to only to create fingerprints for your host OS. MacOS on MacOS, Windows on Windows, etc. The goal of this project is to make privacy accessible for everyone without having to create complex browser setups or pay for professional tools. Fingerprints for other operating systems, alonside other benefits for users who use Donut professionally, are available as a part of the paid plan.

Hi,
I just noticed a "Commercial License" section in Donut Browser showing "Trial: 3 days, 23 hours remaining" with a note that commercial use is free during the trial period. I'd like to understand this better before the trial runs out.
A couple of questions:

• What happens when the trial period ends? Will the browser stop working, switch to a limited mode, or just block commercial use while remaining free for personal use?
• Will I still be able to create an unlimited number of local profiles after the trial ends, or will profiles be capped?

No-no, the trial applies only to commercial use. After it ends, nothing changes for personal use - no restrictions, no caps on profiles, full functionality.
Donut is released under AGPL, which is a strict copyleft license requiring all services that interact with it to be licensed the same way. The trial gives professional users time to evaluate Donut without triggering those AGPL obligations. If you're using it personally, none of that applies.
