First launch opens GitHub sign-in tab in web browser

My first time launching Zedless (yay!), it immediately opened a browser tab for me to log into Zed through GitHub

I'm not seeing this behavior, oddly enough, but I assume it's because of authenticate_with_browser. We can probably remove it and all the logic related to it.

I actually couldn't reproduce it either. I'm thinking it may have had something to do with some state left over from Zed?

Speaking of which, I think we should consider completely divorcing all state and configuration from Zed (besides project-specific settings), rather than allowing it to be shared like it is currently.
