Matrix integration

Basically, replace Collab + GitHub auth with Matrix.

• Chat channels become Matrix rooms

• Collaborative editing via custom events or MatrixRTC

• Calls via MatrixRTC

• How to deal with collab sessions?

  • 1-on-1 can take place in direct chat
  • dynamic room creation will lead to lots of abandoned rooms over time, not exactly ideal

Any chance you'd consider starting by ripping out the current implementation? It would make this much easier to build on Chimera Linux, so I can actually switch to this.

Sure, started in #46. I'm guessing your problem is the dependency on LiveKit?

I didn't initially say anything because I wasn't sure if it would go anywhere, but I got inspired this morning, and am finshing up a PR that removes the livekit_client dependency from the call crate. There's different approaches you could take, but I think mine strikes a pretty good balance. If that ends up having caused you to duplicate work, I apologize.

I've got no opinions on its technical implementation (yet), but I love that it's editor-agnostic. If it's reliable and well-designed, using TeamType for editing synchronization and Matrix for chat and calls sounds like a lovely combo, and should hopefully minimize the amount of custom work required.

Teamtype looks awesome. Kinda wish it still used libp2p, but oh well. I imagine we could also lean on Matrix to automatically exchange the session join codes via custom events.
