There is no documentation, note, card or anything on how to remove, uninstall or whatever to get rid of it.

It tends to look upon the project unfavorably when you search through it all and - zero. The more they look, the more they increase cranium pressure.

it having a formal section would be good (and a command line option to uninstall?), but in case anyone comes here from a web search before that's done: from what I remember you can remove zi by removing the lines from your zshrc that define the loader and plugins, and then deleting the folders you find running export | grep ZI, which for me are:

XDG_ZI_CACHE=/home/myuser/.cache/zi/
XDG_ZI_CONFIG=/home/myuser/.config/zi/
XDG_ZI_HOME=/home/myuser/.zi/
