In Figure 2 of your paper you have a block called "Assign Reflection Intensities"
How do you get the intensity of the reflection points? Can you provide more details on how you do this? I see from the paper that you do a semantic segmentation. Is the intensity of the reflection point dependent on this segmentation? Which equations do you use for computing the intensity of a reflection point? Do you use a BRDF or approximate each triangular mesh component as a flat plate?
