Is this a complaint about the size of the game or just an upvote to the issue?

It's a complaint, but I'm not angry because it's hilarious.

Those megabytes probably come from making it compatible with the graphics systems of multiple modern platforms.

However, I'd like to mention Breakout 71 which manages to do much more than Pong but have a filesize measured in kilobytes.

Thanks for clarifying.
Those megabytes come from containing the .NET runtime within the application, so it can even run, plus the MonoGame framework and compiled graphics assets. I could rewrite it in a different language and framework, but that's outside the scope of the project (which was originally just to test the MonoGame framework)

Edit: I could try to shrink it by using uncompiled PNG assets instead of the compiled ones (which are huge), but that would slightly slow down the startup. I'll make a discussion and if enough people upvote it, I'll do that.
