Rationale

mscomctl.ocx is readily available from Microsoft still at microsoft.com/download/confirmation.aspx?id=10019, so wouldn't automatically downloading the installer from the URI and then invoking it be a good idea, instead of having to manually register the .ocx?

Also, although I manually acquired MSVBVM60.DLL from dll-files.com/msvbvm60.dll.html, is that just a problem with wine? It doesn't seem to be installed by default. microsoft.com/download/details.aspx?id=7030 seems like it might provide it. yereverluvinunclebert/Panzer-Earth-gauge-VB6#2 (comment) is a solution.
