Internal error with MATLAB 2018a

Hi, is this repository still working on MATLAB 2018a?
I keep getting an internal error at some stage and MATLAB is closed unexpectedly while I'm trying to run AFQ_example.m
I would be greatful for any help!

i have the same problem when I am using AFQ_example.m. It seems that is project had been closed without updates?
