Any way of analysing potential performance issues? #2209

Description

@Raptor05

Hey,

the performance of my XBVR instance is really (and I mean REALLY) bad. I'm running the tool in a docker container on my NAS. I'm running also a Stash instance, which is performing very well, although it has thousands of videos in the library.
But XBVR is a nightmare. Starting the website loads initially a few minutes. But then, no filters are available in the side menu. All dropdowns are empty. Sometimes, after about half an hour, the dropdowns begin to work. But when I'm entering e.g. a site, it's loading for another 10 - 30 minutes. And thats the case for EACH action in the UI.

Is this a general issue with the implementation / database used for xbvr? Or is this only an issue on my end? If so, how can I analyse the issue? I can't find something helpful in the logs.

Some technical information:

  • NAS: Synology DS918+ with 32 GB ram
  • Used DB: mariaDB
  • Media available: 1190
  • Scenes in the DB: 29000

Files are stored on an external drive, but docker config is stored inside the NAS. But thats the same for Stash, too. There I don't have any issues.
