When I write it frozes

Hiii, when I start writing something in Notion, either to log in or to write it freezes.

For logging in, I copy paste my user and password and it worked, clicking on buttons works fine but when I start writing, the first letter appears and then it freezes.

Sorry if my english is not good enough, it's not my first language :')

It seems like the issue with the freezing when typing could be related to how the app is handling input on Linux. Since you're using the Snap version, I’ll check if it’s a Snap-specific problem. In the meantime, could you provide a bit more information:

Which Linux distribution and version are you using?

Does the issue happen right away when you type, or after a certain amount of typing?

@xanmoy Hi, I have similar problem on fedora 41 - The login window shows normally and I can type exactly 1 letter before it freezes and asks me to quit the app. Let me know how I can help debug it, thanks

I have exactly the same problem as kamilbiela. I'm on Zorin OS 17.3 Core. I can only type one character on the login window when typing my email and it freeze. If it could help, I've noticed that cursor on text box is still blinking when freezing happen.

Edit : After letting the application open while writing my issue here, I went back to notion-desktop, and saw that other characters has appeared and application was not freeze anymore! All was working well after. Seems that something is blocking after typing the first character and we have to wait a very long time. I have closed and open notion-desktop multiple times after this : no more freeze. It seems to be a one time long freeze.

I can confirm this behaviour - now it works, just by waiting a little bit. Error doesn't happen after reopening the app.

Also, I did run the app first via npm start from repo directly and it doesn't have any issues. Something with version fthe rom snap is not right.
