Compatibility with other plugins #300

I absolutely love the clean and well thought out interface that Zen UI brings to KOreader. The customization is excellent and I am excited, that I can build the interface exactly as I want it. I have been adding some of my most used plugins to the launcher. However some of the plugins do not seem to work when Zen UI is active. For example the AO3 Downloader Plugin (https://github.com/IntrovertedMage/AO3Downloader.koplugin) does not work when Zen UI is active. Either it is not available in the extended menu under search, or more confusingly it worked just the once, I was able to add it to the launcher as a shortcut, but now when I click on that I get the error message that the "Launcher entry is unavailable". I have installed version 2.4.0-beta6 on my Boox Palma, KOreader Version: 20260300231. Thank you for all the hard work and the amazing plugin. |

That should work. It's not a UI plugin so you should be able to add it via plugin or action. Try updating the button again. Sounds like whatever you selected before is no longer available. Double check your launcher configuration |

@lushestpanda I just tested it and it is working as expected. Try deleting your button and readding through Launch > Buttons > Plugins. Also make sure your plugin is installed correctly. This does not appear to be a Zen UI Issue |

Thank you for checking it as well. After a few (more) tries I realised it was a user error all along. The plugin is only available in the library view, it is not available when a book is opened. The shortcuts in the Launcher are available in the library view as well as the reader view so when I clicked on my shortcut when a book was opened I got the error message. Sorry for asking a silly question and thank you again for kindly looking into it. |
