Beef up 5V pwr regulator to (need 2.5 Amps)

We need to power the raspi and touch screen from the 12V input supply. Raspberry pi requires 1.2 amps, add anothrer amp and change for display and peripherals.

Kevin found nice cheep part to do this trick... may just need to add a header for it. 5X for $8!

Hi,

We can beef up the existing 5V regulator and share 5V across the mmM,
including a Pi.

Or, (better) build a third 5V circuit dedicated for the Pi. We can
replicate the eBay circuit.
