Error: OSError: Could not find a suitable TLS CA certificate bundle

With python 3.6 on linux machine
While starting using the linechecker i am geting warning WARNING linkcheck.check 2021-05-18 06:44:23,450 MainThread Running as root user; dropping privileges by changing user to nobody.

and in result : Result Error: OSError: Could not find a suitable TLS CA certificate bundle, invalid path: /root/.local/lib/python3.6/site-packages/certifi/cacert.pem

note that this project is dead, it was revived at https://github.com/linkchecker/linkchecker which may have fixed this issue already
