PS2 Games on Backwards Compatible PS3

Does anyone know if this works with PS2 games on a backwards compatible PS3?

It does. I use my fork of it all the time to do this and I didn't change anything for it to work

What model PS3 are you using?? Are you sure it's using the native backwards compatibility and not emulation?

I have tested with a actual BC model playing from Discs and on a slim using the emulation from official sony PKGs and it works the same with both. The controller may disconnect briefly when the PS2 mode switches over but it does still reconnect and work as expected.
