The serial device name can also be enumerated as /dev/ttyUSB1, /dev/ttyUSB2 etc if several serial adpaters are present. Some serial adapters can be listed as /dev/ttyACM0, /dev/ttyACM1...
- Download and install Putty
- Open PuTTY
- Select Serial
- Enter COM1 (or COM2, COM3 etc)
- Set Speed to 9600
- Click Open
- Install minicom with
brew install minicom - Find the serial adapter name with
ls /dev/cu.* /dev/tty.* 2>/dev/null - Run minicom with the adapter name found, eg:
