after loading Supermium to access Home Depot, now all my browsers can access Home Depot now. Why?

Suddenly all my browsers on W7 SP1 were denied access to Home Depot and Lowes. I downloaded Supermium and set it up and gained access to both sites again. Apparently, both sites report me as being on W11. What I don't understand is why the old browsers that couldn't access those websites can now do so. Registry change or something else? Would love to know why this happened.
