Tone Letters #4

Description

@HughP

I was just looking at your chart and for the contour tone characters you provide the glyphs like the following: ˧˦˧ ˩˨. However, the IPA in its 2005 revision has angle tone letters.

I am not sure if there is a unicode canonical equivalence because R Ishida from the w3C internationalization effort is outputting the same thing: http://rishida.net/scripts/pickers/ipa/#main though in his implementation he is showing via graphics the angle letters. BTW: I did find this interesting bit too: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Tone_(linguistics)#Ligatures.3F
So perhaps the web app needs to ask for more specific fonts such as Doulos SIL installed and to display that...?
