Snoreman - Privacy Policy

Thank you for using the "Snoreman" application. We value your privacy greatly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1.1 Audio Data

Snoreman uses your device's microphone to record audio during sleep only with your explicit consent, in order to analyze snoring patterns.

1.2 App Settings

We store the following settings locally on your device:

  • Snoring detection threshold settings
  • Language preferences
  • Theme preferences

2. Data Storage and Processing

Fully Local Processing

  • Audio files: All recorded audio files are stored locally in your device's document directory
  • Analysis data: Decibel data and snoring analysis results are stored locally on your device
  • App settings: All user settings are stored locally on your device

No Network Transmission

  • We do not upload any audio files to cloud servers
  • We do not send any analysis data to external servers
  • The app does not require an internet connection to function

3. Data Sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties, including but not limited to:

  • Recording files
  • Analysis results
  • Personal settings information

4. Your Rights

You have the following rights:

4.1 Right to Access

You can view all recording files and analysis data stored on your device at any time.

4.2 Right to Delete

You can delete any recording file or analysis data at any time. Once deleted, the data will be permanently removed from your device.

4.3 Right to Control

  • You can start or stop recording at any time
  • You can freely adjust the snoring detection threshold
  • You can uninstall the app to delete all related data

5. Microphone Permission

The reason the app requires microphone permission:

  • To record audio during sleep
  • To analyze sound decibel levels
  • To detect snoring events

The microphone is only activated when you tap the start recording button, and you can stop recording at any time.

6. Use by Minors

This app does not collect any personal information and is suitable for users of all ages. We recommend that minors use this app under the guidance of parents or guardians.

7. Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated to you through in-app notifications. By continuing to use the app, you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
