Install does not work

I tried running npm install off a fresh clone. I get this error message:

Note that there is no npme.walmart.com for me to access.

Had a wrong local config. Sorry for the confusion.

run into other problem npm run dist results in

 $ ls dist/
 builder-effective-config.yaml   kubeman_0.5.0_amd64.snap  'kubeman 0.5.0.AppImage'   latest-linux.yml   linux-unpacked   main   renderer

but the snap is not installable.

$ snap install dist/kubeman_0.5.0_amd64.snap 
error: cannot find signatures with metadata for snap "dist/kubeman_0.5.0_amd64.snap"

How can I install/run Kubeman on Ubuntu?

@mosabua The way I did it on Mint is I installed it from the .AppImage file. Electron builds this generic appimage installer binary, which is supposedly a distro-agnostic binary executable format.

@mosabua note that you may have to chmod appimage file to make it executable.
