@SpaceAMB It is planed to support UE5 but I can't tell you when, as we have other deadlines during research. If you tested it in UE5, could you share the error msgs that were produced? Then I could estimate how much time it would take to fix it.

@dedoogong could you post the error message. I only tested it until 5.3.2 and mostly on Linux. Maybe there where some api changes I am not aware of.

First, could you please share or update repo to UE 5.3.2?(I think current repo codes are compatible with UE 4)

• even your updated code is UE 5.3.2 in Linux, it would be much easier to migrate it to UE 5.5 in Windows than UE 4.26 to UE 5.5.
• so the updated code must be so helpful for me to refer ~!
  Second, there is ISDFParserInterface in URobosimEditor (for editor time) and SDFParser in URoboSim (for runtime)
  and when I build this plugin, UE5.5 compiler doesn't recognize the implementation of the interface, so it says the interface has no implementation.
  -> - I tried to copy the SDFParser.cpp/h in URoboSimEditor to URoboSim but I found that the SDFParser.cpp needs other codes too in URoboSimEditor so that I think there must be hard to solve code dependency and I give up this copy & paste method
  -> - and then I just added a dummy stub, empty ISDFParserInterface implementations in URoboSim for avoiding the missing errors.

but when I build, the linker error occured as below;

regarding the URoboSim interface link errors, and instead of adding a separate dummy code files, I added the dummy codes directly into SDFParserInterface.cpp as below and the linker errors gone.

but I got assertion error while opening the unreal.
"Assertion failed: this [File:C:\Users\USER\Documents\UnrealEngine5_carla\Engine\Source\Runtime\CoreUObject\Private\UObject\Class.cpp] [Line: 2640] "
and the Class.cpp's 2640 line is shown below

"check(this)" << this must be "nullptr" that's the problem, I guess.

I think, the runtime error would comes from URoboSimEditor's code side. but I'm not sure where

I attatched the codes. I really hope you can point me where to modify... please help me~!

Here is the DemoProject https://github.com/urobosim/DemoProject.git, that works with my setup. The master branch compiles and starts on Ubuntu with Unreal 5.3.2. Can you test if this repository works on windows with unreal 5.3.2 first. Then we can see if its a fundamental problem with the code or if its related to the changes from 5.3.2 to .5.5.

If you make a fork of the repositories that you changed, I could fetch the changes and check it out directly. This way we prevent errors because of copy past.

I updated some of the plugins including URoboSim. https://github.com/urobosim/DemoProject.git is now compiling on UE 5.5.4 using clang.
