Issue #15 is a missing capability: the repository has no sum module, export, or tests, rather than a defective fixed-arity implementation. After approval, add a variadic named export in src/sum.js and focused mirrored tests, while leaving the unrelated greeting defect out of scope.

Conclusions

• No sum implementation, export, test, or documented arithmetic API exists in the tracked repository.
• A rest-parameter API sum(...numbers) is the minimal fit for accepting an unknown number of numeric arguments.
• The existing npm test baseline fails 1 of 2 tests because greeting('') returns 'Hello ' instead of 'Hello guest'; this is unrelated to issue Implement sum n numbers #15.

Next: A maintainer should confirm the proposed contract, then approve adding src/sum.js with sum(...numbers) and test/sum.test.js covering multiple, single, zero, negative, and decimal arguments.

Implemented a variadic named sum export that handles any number of numeric arguments, including zero arguments. Added focused coverage for several, single, zero, negative, and decimal inputs; those tests pass, while the full suite retains its unrelated baseline greeting failure.

Conclusions

• The approved sum contract is implemented in src/sum.js.
• All four focused sum tests pass.
• The only full-suite failure is the documented pre-existing greeting defect.
