I also looked into extracting the AIP and stumbled across your project. I looked a bit into how to create GeoPDFs which could be the next step after the existing library already gets all images and converts them to PDFs. GeoPDFs can be imported to ForeFlight for example.
Maybe I find some time or someone else which has done this before.
Maybe see this not as an issue and more like a feature request.
