Is it possible to use a specific routing table for RPF calculation?

Is it possible to configure pim6sd to use a specific routing table for RPF calculation? Not all of my peers are multicast-capable, so I would create a second routing table for multicast if necessary.

Not at the moment, no. On Linux I guess you could use VRFs instead, starting pimd6sd in a dedicated VRF.

At least a simple ip vrf exec <vrf> pim6sd did not seem to work for me. Probably because pim6sd implements its own netlink request to get the unicast routes? What does seem to work for me though is adding an RTA_OIF (outgoing interface) attribute set to a VRF interface to pim6sd's netlink request, via an extra config option for pim6sd: #46
