Having an issue where I am getting inadyn[25670] : Zone 'my-domain.com' not found when attempting to use inadyn to update an entry in Cloudflare. Is @SimonPilkington still around?

macOS 14.5 (Macbook Air M2)
inadyn 2.12.0
Installed via Homebrew

Here is my config file:

Works for me using a similar config to yours. By that log HTTP init fails before the first request to get the zone id is even sent to Cloudflare. I've never seen a Mac in my life so I have no idea what's going on basically, sorry.

Nowhere. I'm guessing from the code and your log.

json_extract() at https://github.com/troglobit/inadyn/blob/master/plugins/cloudflare.c#L331 returns an error before sending the request because it doesn't log sending it but other parts of Inadyn don't log anything based on that return code so we don't know what the error is.

I think it might be related to TLS/SSL for the provider.

There is no noticeable network pause between the update force message and the last two zone messages. However, if I add ssl = false to disable TLS for the provider update request, it actually makes an HTTP request as shown in the log. Cloudflare rejects the request because it's not TLS. I think it just doesn't attempt to make the request if it's an https request on macOS.

Any chance you (or someone) could check if TLS works with another provider besides Cloudflare? I suspect this is just whatever TLS library the homebrew build uses silently failing at some point between init and sending the request.

Are you still interested in this issue? I am encountering the same problem. I have the same configuration and install method as @henrysingleton. When I tried to use FreeDNS, I also get an error message saying it can't find my API token.
