Hi, I would like to ask about an issue I am encountering with TrackMate. For some cell trajectories, the software splits what should be a single trajectory into several distinct ones (indicated by different colors along the same path). I haven’t been able to resolve this despite trying multiple parameter adjustments. Initially, I suspected a gap-closing issue, but the cells do not disappear from the frames at the points where the track is split.
Do you have any idea what might be causing this?
I am also sharing a few videos from my acquisitions after image processing. I first used CellProfiler to clean the background and binarize the images, and then TrackMate to perform the tracking.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
