Entity Culling causes system freeze when Alt+Tabbing or pressing Windows key in fullscreen

Mod Loader: Fabric
Entity Culling Version: 1.10.5
OS: Windows 11
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5
GPU: AMD Radeon

Issue

When Minecraft is running in fullscreen mode, pressing Alt+Tab or the Windows key causes my entire PC to freeze.

The screen becomes completely unresponsive and I cannot return to Windows normally. The only way I have found to recover is to put the PC into sleep mode using the physical sleep/power button and then wake it up again.

I tested my mods individually and found that Entity Culling is causing the issue.

With Entity Culling installed:

Fullscreen → Alt+Tab = PC freezes
Fullscreen → Windows key = PC freezes

After removing Entity Culling:

Alt+Tab works normally
Windows key works normally
No system freeze occurs

I am using Sodium and several other Fabric mods, but I was able to reproduce the issue specifically with Entity Culling enabled.

Uhhh what. EntityCulling does nothing with the fullscreen or game focus, so that's a pretty random thing. I assume you mean the exclusive fullscreen? I just tried it, and it works as expected, so I am a bit stumped on how to help you.
Can you send the latest log when this happens, and check task manager on what it says? My best guess is that something is shooting Minecraft to 100% cpu or memory usage, causing the system lockup. If it's that, could try to capture it with Spark. Outside of that, make sure that it wasn't just a fluke that it didn't happen with this mod, and that its actually consistent. If it is, bestcase get in contact on discord for faster back and forth to try to nail down what might be causing this.
