For context I have only ever used Strange Eons and never used Shoggoth before. I will only be covering Investigator related things such as investigator card, minis, signature cards and weaknesses.
Edit: Using Windows 10. Shoggoth version 0.8.0
Folder Structure
I personally sorted them by their factions from their original game. I imagine in a bigger project being able to keep the folder structure is important.
Folder structure is not kept. Edit: (Not Possible)
Investigator:
Strange Eons
Shoggoth
Shoggoth with mask
Shoggoth with Mask Attempting to center
Strange Eons Back
Shoggoth Back
Stats reset to 3/3/3/3
Masking is different from Strange Eons
Back is empty
Collection Icons are blank Edit: (Not Possible)
Maybe making adjustable variables for masking would be a nice addition.
Investigator Minis
Its just blank no images.
I'm going to assume investigator minis aren't supported yet and this is why its just blank. Edit: (Is now supported as of Shoggoth version 0.8.0)
Player Cards:
Asset
Event
Skill
Assets are imported with level 0 instead of null.
Events tend to have their images be slightly too high.
I didn't really see anything wrong with skills that were imported, but I will showcase 1 as an example.
Player Weaknesses:
Strange Eons
Shoggoth
Strange indent/spacing
Images on weaknesses tend to import more towards the right
Edit Flavor Text: After new Reimport
1. Strange Eons
2. Shoggoth First Import
3. Shoggoth Latest Import
Official Example 1
Official Example 2
Flavor text is too low
Weakness skill card over flows text
I've decided to showcase the input fields here for context. Just incase Shoggoth does things differently from Strange Eons.
Broken Accents:
When importing cards that have letters with accents they end up broken, I can manually just type them out to fix it. Some of my cards had the following á Æ ñ and ended up with different letters instead.
Strange Eons
Shoggoth
Broken accents
Edit: Image Import
Multiple Images
Single Image
Images do not properly import
It looks to me as if all images are anchoring at the top left corner im unsure. It could also be because the images I use are too big?
These are all I've noticed so far. I hope it helps with your efforts of ironing out the Strange Eons exporter. It genuinely looks like a really useful tool. Even at its current stage it looks pretty clean so far just small adjustments here and there from the user.
