Downstream integration + an AI-first 'tasteful weave' eval (braidio / nw) #45

Description

@thorwhalen

Downstream integration + an AI-first "tasteful weave" eval (braidio / nw)

foley.score(segments, audio=…) (the AI-first contract) + the shipped foley-sound-design
skill / foley_score + foley_guide tools landed in #37 (closed #31). The next step is to
actually wire them into the consumers and to measure the thing #31's acceptance test
described — that a fresh agent produces a tasteful result, not just a runnable one.

Scope

  • Integration: adopt foley.score(...) in braidio and nw as the sound-design entry;
    confirm the contract fits (segment granularity, timeline hand-off, the weave result), and
    file back any API friction as follow-ups.
  • Agent eval: a small harness that runs a fresh agent (with only foley + the skill) over a
    handful of narration passages and scores the output for restraint (sounds-per-sentence
    within a sane band), license-cleanliness (100%), placement sanity (onsets land near
    their trigger words), and loudness (hits the master target) — reusing the Tier-2 fit-judge
    where useful. Report, don't hard-gate.

Acceptance

  • braidio/nw call foley.score for sound design.
  • A repeatable eval reports the restraint / licensing / placement / loudness of an agent-produced
    sound design over a fixed passage set.

Refs #31, #37.
