To reproduce, set SID model to one where when playing the song, the amplitude of the waveform is high (both 8580 models work for this, and some 6581 models work as well), then enable waveform preview (press Ctrl+F9 twice) and play the song. It will crash almost immediately.
I am using Linux, and I cannot get the same issue to occur on the Windows release through WINE.
