(Request) Emby support for previously watched.

Good morning,

This tool is brillaint, thank you so much.
Whilst I understand you've built it for Jellyfin, as Jellyfin was originally a fork of Emby most of the features work out of the box for my Emby server.
However if I try to import playback history from Emby it tells me it can see 793 items but then fails to import them with the error:
"No playback rows found. Use a Playback Reporting TSV backup or playback_reporting.db."
If I export the playback to a tsv I'm advised that:
"Jellydash did not find any playback rows in this source."

Is there any way you could please look into it?

Hey @Akirainblack, thank you very much, I am glad you like Jellydash, that's awesome!

It's an interesting issue you have, and I would be intrigued to work on this and possibly provide some sort of solution for you and future users. I think adding compatibility with Emby Playback Reporting should be possible. The 793-item count means Jellydash can reach the plugin's PlaybackActivity table. The records are then being rejected because the importer currently expects Jellyfin's exact row format. Emby's backup has some additional columns, and its item IDs may use a different format.

I did some digging, and I think it could work, but would you be willing to help with it, by providing some information and possibly testing the implementation with new version ?
If so, before I change the parser, could you please help provide:

• Your exact Emby Server version.
• Your exact Playback Reporting plugin version.
• The results of these two read-only queries.

You can run them from Emby Dashboard → Playback Reporting → Custom Query.

These results will not contain titles, usernames, item IDs, IP addresses, or your watch history. Don't upload the full database or TSV backup yet.
If the second query fails because one of those columns does not exist, just paste the error along with the result of the first query. That information should be enough, to reproduce the Emby format safely and add regression tests for both Emby and Jellyfin imports.

So, if you're able, I will appreciate your help with this!
