Sosna-U instability #13

Description

@denniskhk

There is a problem with Sosna-U on Patton Pass (which I frequently play).

The last targets are 3 MBTs at about 3000m range. They start behind a ridge but, with some good positioning (the higher ground just to the left of the 2nd waypoint), the tops of 1 or 2 of them can just be made out on thermals. However, locking the Sosna-U on any of them will cause the system to lock on the last wave of vehicles that were engaged (3 APCs emerging from a forest, which had by that point already been destroyed), which is about 180 degrees to the rear. This causes:-

  1. the turret to spin all the way to the rear but, sometimes, non-stop
  2. on about half the times this happens:-
    a) the gunner's and commander's views to be stuck at a weird angle (e.g. locked pointing down into the ground)
    b) the tank gun to appear as a weird artifact outside the tank (see attached pictures, taken across different playthroughs)
    c) the gunner's Y-axis control gets reversed (although the GHPC settings remain correct).

Once this happens, it renders Sosna-U useless for the rest of the game (cannot lock on any new targets). I have to use regular laser rangefinding and manually lead moving targets.

Happens to both T-72M1 and T-80B, which I have enabled Sosna-U for. Configuration attached for reference (converted from .cfg to .txt to enable upload).
