I'm just wondering if it is possible to add a model on default to deinterlace with ai. I feel that the upscale model doesn't take into account deinterlacing, also it is very specific to some old videos and should be selected manually.
I'm currently using some other tool https://www.videohelp.com/software/Hybrid
Which use deinterlacing with QTGMC a basic filter i suppose compared to ai, which i believe could do better.
